Embedded System Security Group
Embedded System Security is becoming a major issue to enable the vision of ubiquitous computing. Numerous challenges need to be addressed to promote security within future embedded systems. Our research aims at defining new solutions to leverage embedded security by taking benefit of reconfigurable architectures and on-chip hardware monitoring. We also propose new solutions to improve security within future NoC.
We propose a novel verification system to support dynamic security by continuous on-chip monitoring of the operation of the system. The use of flexible monitors connected by an on-chip intelligence network will help protect embedded systems. The key aspect of this system is that verification and protection are provided in a dedicated hardware system.
